Property and Land
Members’ expertise ranges from traditional land and property disputes such as boundary disputes, mortgages and property finance, restrictive covenants and easements to the dustier corners of land law. All landlord and tenants matters whether residential, commercial or agricultural are dealt with by members of chambers who are regularly instructed on behalf of both commercial and public authority landlords, together with private tenants and charities.
Members are regularly instructed by public bodies (Local Authorities, utility companies, local government) and regularly appear in the County and High Court, together with appearing at Public Inquiries and before the various chambers of the Tribunal.
Members are also qualified arbitrators and mediators and have extensive experience of resolving dispute out of court. The teams’ work in commercial, insolvency and public law matters also means that broader litigation with a property element can be effectively dealt with.
